One of the primary forage legumes planted for deer each spring and summer.  A warm season annual legume, it is widely adepted to a variety of solils and climatic conditions and is able to tolerate hot dry conditions.  Extremely attractive and nutritious to deer, containing 25-30 percent crude protein.
