Also know as Egyptian clover.  It is a high quality, fast growing summer or winter annual legume.  Similiar in nutritive value to alfalfa without causing bloat in ruminant species.  Good protein source for grazing.  Bee-friendly since blossoms, unlike alfalfa, have no tripping mechanism and offer a diet meeting all their nutritional needs.
