Introduced cool season grasses are plants that grow best in the spring and fall when soil and air tempratures are cooler.  They are generally dormant in mid-summer.  Cool season grasses in combination with a legume such as clovers, can be planted to reduce soil erosion and sedimentation, improve water quality, and provide wildlife habitat.  


CRP and EQUIP mixes are custom mixed to meet your contract specifications.  Please email your NRCS contract to for the most accurate quote.   We will provide a sample seed tag for preapproval to ensure that the mix meets the requirements.
